Does anyone have ANY luck with Loomis rolled pennies, or any other denomination besides nickels? Because whenever I get Loomis rolled pennies, there are no pre-1982 pennies.

Yup. I get loomis rolls from my bank. I find all kinds of goodies in everything.

Went through $100 in Loomis wrapped dimes, churned out two Canadian 10c and some Korean 10 won dated 2012 this morning. No silver though.

I typically get 20-25% copper and about 12-18 Wheats in a $25 box.

What part of the country are you in? I'm in the Portland, OR area and I find almost no pre-82 pennies through Loomis. My theory is the Portland Mint (which culls pre-82 pennies from circulation) uses Loomis to dump the post-82 cents.

I had to look up Portland Mint, sure enough that would appear to be what they are doing. Thankfully I am on the other coast so I still could save the 30% or so of copper I see. I stopped saving it when I got to about 50 gallons of the stuff.

I live near Portland, OR too. So Loomis isn't installing Ryedales after all. Someone else is using Ryedales and dumping into Loomis. Yup, probably the Portland Mint.

It's, ahem, "funny" how these Portland Mint type "businesses" never seem to tell prospective customers the whole story behind the wonderful, ahem, "investment grade" copper they're hawking.
