It might be a bit light and could easily be toned down in postprocessing --- or is is a fully cleaned white coin so this is accurate. Try daylight anyway just for educational value.
Nice coins all! I don't own any examples to share, but I have enjoyed seeing your coins and learning a bit more about photographing coins.
There is some toning in the serrations and near the forepart of the bore but other than that it is a very clean coin.
I didn't get a chance to test the setup out with natural lighting, but I did test it out with another coin that is not as clean as the subject of the post and here are the results. First picture is my old picture, second picture is my new picture: Roman Republic AR denarius(19.18mm, 3.45g). Pinarius Natta, moneyer, 155 BC. Head of Roma right in winged helmet, X (mark of value) behind/Victory in galloping biga right, holding whip and reins, NAT below horses, ROMA on tablet in exergue. Crawford 200/1; Pinaria 2; Sydenham 382 The second image is much, much closer to the look in-hand under good lighting
Wow, love the coin, and really like your 2nd shot! Well done. I need to learn to put mine into the mini-tray you all use.
