Who, in their right mind, would want to go to Camden?

That's a beautiful park, walking distance for me. It sucked to hear they couldn't come to lease terms.

The Riversharks' problem is they were unaffiliated with an MLB team. The stadium faces the difficulty of attracting a farm team across the river from the Phillies; I think they have a say about the affiliation of a minor league team that close.

If you want good tequila you got to drive down Baja. Tijuana or Ensenada . Nothing like rolling in to Ensenada with the wind blowing from the South so you can catch the aroma of the tuna factory . But once you get past that some sweet looking kid will ask you.....shine your shoes senior ? Which no matter how much cervasa you have consumed your reply is no I'm wearing desert boots!
Next you find a blanket salesman not a hard task as there's one on every corner , with a donkey that for a few peso ' s more you can have your picture taken.
Next make sure no matter what.... you stick to the American plan that's hard boiled eggs and more cervasa.
Oh BTW before I forget make sure you BUY extra car insurance at the border ....because if you run over someone's chicken you have to pay for that chicken and all the chickens it would produce.
Meanwhile you sashay into a local bar......they don't call them bars but you'll know you're in the right place as you'll be greeted by Bueno Dias gringo.
Make sure when you buy the tequila it's understood that you want the worm. Sometimes they offer a cheaper price if they get to keep the worm.
Hopefully when you wake up in a Mexican jail you still have your $5 blanket that you got for a steal at $2.50 usd.
As you wait for your next of kin to bail you out you ponder if you ever want to share this life experience with anyone .
And plan your next adventure out of country.
And wonder if you could ever develop a taste for Ouzo?

I went to Tijuana 40 years ago. I actually spent about 12 hours there, most of it at the jai alai fronton where I won about $800. No way I'd ever go back.

I've been to Mexico way to many times on business. At least 90! It's not my ideal vacation country. I've heard the resort areas are nice, but I'd rather go to Canada and fish for muskies.

You just hit the border keep driving south about 81 clicks down the road. Ensenada is very nice. There's nothing like tooling around town enjoying a mango on a stick lightly salted ,and lime juice squeezed over it.
