I almost believed you! Here is a picture I took of my Dad hitting golf balls at the gold vault. We got to take home some samples after we toured it.

And it is! It is a legitimate, albeit horrible, attempt at photoshopping the date on this nice 2013 Jefferson. :)

Since this is the 'What's It Worth' forum it is my opinion that this thread was a waste of my time.
Humor I enjoy as much as the next person but this wasn't even plausible. :stop: enough already. I mean no offense to all who posted perhaps the OP should consider a mea culpa and keep future postings ( if any ) positive and professional and in good taste for this forum.

Considering the post you just started in the 'Coin Chat' forum, I have doubts. Remember that it's by your actions others will decide your intentions. Hopefully I am wrong but time will tell.

You'll grow up soon enough. Have fun being a kid. It only comes around once.

That thread is also a silly one, just wanted to get some laughs from other people, but it is impossible to take it nearly as seriously. Also note that some of the practices are fraud and counterfeiting, and I have added a disclaimer to a recent post about that.

john41 Toned coins, I like them. If I have it so can you.

If you ar 12yo I think it is cool that you are getting into the hobby. Please do not let those "correcting" you keep you from the hobby. Many collectors forget where they started and many did not start till they were much older and their kids were long gone from the house. Is this post correct, no it's not and that could have been told to you more politely considering your age. Anything other than that could have been said in a PM as if I were a YN the big mean grumpy guys behind their keyboards may keep me from becoming the next great collector of coins.
omega keep posting but clean it up a bit and expect to be challenged all the time. Do not let the challenges scare you as you grow, use them to learn from and increase your knowledge and love of coins.
I wish you the best of luck finding your hearts desires in coins, John.

Cool photo! Golfing with the mint next to the course and in view down the fairway. Your dad has style with the hat, although it looks like he may have pulled that shot.

He is a better golfer than me, but yes, I think he had a bad shot there, haha. I love playing next to the vault. I have been tempted to hit a ball over the fence, but I doubt that would go over well. Here is a better shot of the gold vault..

Please do not let the people calling you names keep you from msg boards you wsill find those you can talk with and those you can not. It is the way the world works. Being 12 years old will not have given you this total knowledge as it take time. Keep your joy of coins alive and be ever striving for the next find. I would also recomend getting the newest version of the cherrypickers guide as it will have a lot of cool information and pictures for you to see and learn.

And a piece of advice to the OP of this thread, the same goes for John here, it appears that you can't disagree with his opinion.... you do and you certainly are marked for death it seems.

I guess it's ok if you call us names John... just not the other way around....

Please show me where in this thread I called anyone names? Seems you are carrying your self-appointed war to other threads now. Please feel free to correct me at any time by presenting the information you are complaining about. As for my opinion anyone is free to disagree with me and the same is true of me as opinions are never absolute just like grading.

Ahh see, there it is again, everyone but you, is wrong.....

Sad how a person like you, can bring down the whole morale of the entire site in just a matter of hours if not days, it is really incredible to witness.

Sir at this time your post are not making sense as I clearly stated you can correct me anytime by quoting where you feel I am wrong. You have not done this nor have you explained it.
I am simply letting the mods handle it from here on out as you have stated that you turned me in to them.
Charlietig may you have a great night and fantastic life as you are only 18 and have yet much to experience. Maybe we can get together someday and laugh about this as I do not live to far from you in Wisconsin.
