Just picked up this Star Sheet. Now I only need two more sheets to complete my modern era, all denomination star sheet collection.

Daddy like that Bank of Commerce wide vignette obsolete...

Today's new pickup is another Bank of the Republic note (get ready because those hits keep coming...), this one a pleasingly designed deuce. I do like obsolete $2's almost as much as I do obsolete $3's, and this well handled note has a nice layout and a bonus red overprint for a pop of color...

Received this in change today, not rare or anything except a Star note.

I pulled out some cash from the ATM here in Djibouti. Out came a crisp 2013 $20* note. Serial ML00256401*. mycurrencycollection lists it as 640,000 print run. Is it worth keeping or should I spend it?

It's too bad about the pin hole - otherwise a really nice fractional. :)

That's a nice fractional, I just got a Stanton like that, perfect except for one pinhole in the top, like it was pinned to something. From the looks of yours, some careful work can close the pinhole from the front to the back.

Today's new pickup is... another world weary Bank of the Republic note. This $3 is of course my favorite denomination, because it's such an oddball.

And today's new pickup - yep, Bank of the Republic! This one is the ten spot... that's a dodgy looking well they go there in the middle, no wonder they all died of cholera back then. Like the rampant eagle on the right though...

Today's new pickup is... not from Bank of the Republic! But it is an obsolete, this one a five from the Bank of Greensborough. As you can see this has three big vignettes merged into one long series of engravings, a pleasing and interesting design with a red overprint. Paper is caramel and I think might have spent some time in a bad holder... sad face. But the engraving is clear and the character is there, so I am happy with it.

Today's new pickup is this great design $100 note from the Citizens' Bank of Louisiana. This ABNCo gem hits all the keys, multicolor green and black face, great engraving, alot of design elements, and a printed reverse...

    Finally something to post...

First is a 1928 $20 Fed from Philly. Circulated but one of the few numericals available at the PAN show today:

Now I have a duplicate. Whoops.

Today's new pickup is another great ABNCo obsolete from the Citizens' Bank, this one a 50 spot. Everything great about the 100 holds here, really top notch design on an obsolete and just great looking money...

Just an old fashioned banknote. Egg Harbor Bank - One of these was posted not too long ago I think, but here's another one anyway.

Hey Dave I just posted that as did someone else but that one is YOURS and a nice example to boot so post away...

Today's new pickup is a rough and tumble 1875 national from Manufacturers National Bank of New York. This is a pretty rare note, on a pretty rare kind of bank, a rare NYC bank. This is the only 1875 ace, only 6 total large on the bank under this name. I think this is my first 1875 national...
