I have a 1972 Lincoln penny its smaller than a normal penny liberty looks like it is doubled? Any one of this or what it could be worth
Be nice... OP, Based upon your very basic description along with knowing well how such things usually turn out, chances are it's nothing special. However, just to be sure, you would be wise to post clear well-focused photos.
Has this place truly lowered itself to the point where it's okay to call someone a "troll" in their very first post just because it happens to be a novice question? Maybe think back to when you were new or developed an interest in errors or varieties... what caught your eye first? Most likely it was something you thought different or out of the norm, so would you have appreciated a not-so-subtle kick to the teeth for asking what you believed an honest or reasonable question, perhaps just trying to learn about your new-found interest? Not everyone is the next Coinattic_Hunter69 or Detecto, fellas... Perhaps it would be wise to at least wait until the person has a few posts under their belt, so that you can reasonably gauge his/her seriousness, before the mud and jokes fly. Just my most humble opinion, of course...
Welcome to CT. Please post photos as there are a number of things that could have caused what you are describing. Chances are you have an odd penny that's worth a cent but only pics will help us determine that. Don't mind some of the other comments. It's an old joke that still out there. Sometimes it's funny and times like this, it's not.
Obviously, given the evidence, yes it has. To the OP - we really can't tell you anything without pictures. Try to post some clear pictures, and we'll help you the best we can. However, you most likely have some sort of post mint damage
Would you guys want anyone to trash your very first post in your very first thread like many of you did with your "videos". I assume you are trying to post a statement? Try using language rather than tying up the bandwidth with someones video. Videos were allowed so instruction on coins could be seen, but I hope the forum owner rethinks using the full video, not just a link. Decency seems to go out the window of many once Friday even hits. No More. Thanks.
Lngck8, Yes a photo would be needed for us to give good information. Please forgive some of the misconceptions several had and I hope regret. Most of the forum is very willing to help serious inquiries. Jim
I think instead of "troll" he meant to type "roll".... then again I don't know how you could confuse the two, when typing.
No, it was not a typo. It was just a bad joke for which I am sorry, OP please accept my apologies and feel free to post pictures of your coin. Even though most threads that start like these don't have follow-ups, if 1% of them do, then respect needs to be shown for those 1%. Sorry again, good luck with finding information about your coin.
