I found this 1959 LC Beauty coin roll searching....is this a perfect circulated LC or could it possibly be a DD or MD?

Your thoughts are much appreciated! Thanks in advanced!

looks normal to me, nice but normal..when roll hunting i usually have this site open to check for any suspected doubled dies or re-punched mint marks http://www.coppercoins.com/advsearch.php plug in your date, clik search at bottom an try an match up your coin, if you dont find it there then chances are pretty good its MD or nothing....

Thanks for your input! Coppercoins.com is ALWAYS my number 1 site to check my LC's

If I can't find anything there it's most likely nothing or a super cool new find

That's in beautiful condition for a roll find! It must have been stashed away for many years.

you can't assume that just because it isn't listed that it is nothing. there are new varieties being reported. some people don't want to spend the money to send them in (like myself). you can get a usb microscope off ebay for about $25 that will allow you to take a little better photos. it will allow people to see what YOU see better. then even if it isn't something, they can tell you what it IS so you can identify it later.

You are correct Bryan!!! I've found a 1969 S LC that has an extra beard and I can't find any info on it anywhere!!

I've been looking into pu chasing a USB microscope that can take photos....but they are soooo expensive!!!

but they are worth it, especially when roll searching a lot, looking at the coin on computer screen is much easier on the eyes and faster than using a loupe..

I agree Ken! I'm pretty sure I'm going to purchase one soon...it drives me crazy when I'm looking at a coin and I think I see something then I look again and it's gone lol!

I'm going to try to get a good pic of my 1969 S LC that I believe has an extra beard and start a new thread :)

go on ebay and get one for under $30. then you can sell errors you don't want for something you do want. I am not an error collector myself. I sell mine so that I can buy silver or paper currency.

Danielle, You want to go to Microscope.com and look at the Dino-lite Basic model AM 2111 usb scope I got one and it beats a loupe by miles,no migranes from squinting thru a low-powered lens for hours! Worth the $ and will be able to resell quickly as it's a quality piece. The software loads 0 problems and actually works too.Best of luck....
