Well, just got my NGC results for my Jefferson Nickel hoard...

    Ah, I see. I always take pics before I send to NGC, for 2 reasons. 1. It is vastly easier to take a good picture of a raw coin than one in a slab. And 2. I've heard rumours of coins turning or changing on their voyage, and I want to document exactly what I'm sending to NGC.

    I completely agree with both of your points. All I'll say is that I was so busy when I sent them off that I'd never have sent them if I had to photograph 200 coins... :)

    But yes, normally, I do.

    I don't know what to tell you, other than that I'm quite sure the graders don't know my coins from yours when they show up to be graded.

    Well, those quarters DO appear to have billowing shades of blue, magenta and burnt owweeenge........
