I cant believe the amount of exonumia that shows up on eBay every day. Thousands of items daily. I WANT IT!!

 

It can get a little out of control. Best thing, pick something that really gets you excited or is very specific and the it gets interesting.

 

There's not as much "shall we play a grading game" either with exonumia. I have bought tokens graded as above average + below average - and average =

 

One of my best pieces yet and it's super rare to boot!!! This is a medal from the first gold miner's convention held in Denver, Colorado in 1897. Like I said, it's super rare! If anyone knows how much these sell for, or any other information on this medal, please let me know. I was looking around online and found the one listed in the below link. Obviously, mines nicer than the one below, jmho. Thank you

I rarely assign grades to my tokens but I do think of their condition in the same states like MS, AU (rare), XF, and F. I also think of things like corroded, scratched, holed,etc. but it's nothing serious like it is with U.S. coins!

 

You are in a better position than me to evaluate it's value, sorry. Well if it is valuable, great score!

Picked one up? Where? I would buy. I would be happier knowing if the funds went to sustaining the Memorial or some other appropriate venture...but even if not, I would still buy one. Would go very well with my challenge coins and military medals (not the kind you wear!).
