Book End Serial #'s

    Are they considered as fancy? Any value over face in AU-CU condition? I have two FRN ones......

    Another related question, what about bookend letters? For example I have a Black Eagle from the "ZZ" block.

    Blocks only add value if it was a low printing. Though, they do make Radars more attractive. And with Birth year or dates they, if matching someone's initials, would add value for that specific buyer.

    Also block letter mismatching errors of course (ZZ on one side of the note, while ZX or Z* is on the other).

    Also, the serialling worked differently back then--when a suffix letter was used, it *always* matched the prefix letter, until they ran out of such blocks and had to start using a different pattern. After the Black Eagles finished the Z..Z block, they rolled over to B..A, the first use of *non*-matched block letters.
