is a dime worth more than refrigerator?

    Make sure when you abandon that refrigerator on the curb to recycle it you remove the door as otherwise a coin might get stuck inside and suffocate. The criminal codes in every state require that.

    I know. How coincidental. But the recycling guys will remind you about the door. I guess the dime was used for conduction. Just a real cool find in there and it's not in bad shape, either. :)

    Looks like a freezer? Does it work? If so, good to keep dead body in until you can dispose of it properly. Just saying!!!

    That fridge doesn't look old enough to be a contemporary of that dime. I'll bet that it's post 1964, maybe 70 something.

    Nice picture but to answer that question, we need a close up of the back side (reverse) of the coin. The term "full split bands" is that the bands around the torch are complete and not affected by wear

    I don't know if it's worth more than a refrigerator, up to you I guess. I have a coin that I figured was worth more than a tire. Plugged the tire and aired it up twice a day for a week and a half so I could get the coin before the tire. Didn't see them running out of tires anytime soon.
