    Definitely a keeper. It’s a binary note.

If you collect strictly from circulation, keep it. I can’t imagine a serious collector wanting a modern $1 note in its condition in their collection.

In that condition, not worth any more than face value, IMHO. A true "binary" is 0 and 1 s, so it doesn't fit that category, and as worn as it is, I think I'd spend it, but hey, it's only a dollar, so if you like it, keep it.

The condition is a deal breaker otherwise it's a keeper.

True but now they are breaking that down to:
A true binary note is 0 & 1’s but a binary or regular binary note is any two numbers. Been that way in my area for a couple of years. More money that way I think. :)

You could be right. I'm just going by what known currency "experts" have posted before.

People.. Take your pictures of your paper currency out of the protective sleeve so it can be better seen.
Unless it's in a grading company holder :hilarious:

Sometimes when I get notes like this, they are eye catchers that get kept. Then it is compared with others that have been kept to see if it is still cool amongst it's peers.

If I see something else I want for my collection. I use the saved "cool" bills to purchase it, or in my mind, say I will pay myself back for it out of notes I've kept. Problem with that is I keep forgetting to pay myself back.
