That quarter's been in soapy water or something like that for an extended period of time. I find these when I clean out the lint trap of my washing machine. I had a couple posted out here on the forum, just can't remember where they are tho.
So here's a dime with in and we missing which I know is common but the wavy white lines around the edge I know it's not valuable just trying to learn.
That looks like it was struck through grease. A good example to hold onto, but not dramatic enough for increased value.
Cool thanx for the help. I have a few other things I'll post after I give you a break lol. One includes a 1969 s penny in good condition that I see some doubling on only magnetized and not in mint mark. It's identical to one online for 15000 dollars. I don't think I'm that lucky but ive spent countless hours looking at change so who knows
That meant the doubling is not in the mint mark which from what I read a true doubled die is not doubled on mint mark. I also thought I read that some true doubled dies are not visible to the naked eye
