    Hey Guys,

So I recently Acquired this seated proof dollar. It was previously in an ANACS holder and has been cracked out, I will be sending it to pcgs to be graded sometime this week. What do you guys think it will grade? The scratches on the revers were the slab when it was in plastic.

    Thanks as always : )

This is a hard one to grade as to be honest I've never have tried. But that said I'm going with a 63/64 range. It's a really nice specimen one that I my self would love to have in my collection .

Thanks for the compliment paddy, It looks even better in person, I put it under the microscope and i'm finding minimal if any issues. I think its definitely a 64, would a 65 be pushing it to much : )?

WOW!!! I don't know how a 22 year old acquired such a beauty like this, but I sure wish I had the same contacts you have. Ha, ha! I estimate that grade at PR63 based on your images of it, which seem slightly dark.

Based on your images and a pair of very tired eyes it may go 65 but I'll say a strong 64 for sure.

Looks nice, but you really can't grade proofs from photos since the hairlines don't show up well, and that is the main determinant of grade. Hope PCGS likes her!

Thanks all : ) Seated proofs are by far my favorite coin to collect.

Its really hard to photograph but when I put it underneath the usb microscope it looks great, way better then my 62s hahah. Well have to see what PCGS says, I'm trying to send it out under the economy submission to save some money as they had a 8 day turnaround time on my last submission. Don't know if value would void that though...

Nice coin! I love the seated series, but don't own any proof coins, so I don't have an opinion wrt the grade. Which grade did it get from ANACS?
