MCM has graded ones already, that didnt take long. lol

  5. Yeah, MCM typically has the new stuff out and graded pretty fast from what i've seen. I'm also looking at the Darth Vader coin for my son. Probably purchasing from Silvertowne. I would like the gold, they only minted 1000 but he's only 9 so silver will do for now!

I ordered one from Silvertowne yesterday. They were offering free shipping so it was a good deal!!

  7. That's great I'll have to check it out! Thanks

  8. Just ordered with free shipping as well. Thanks again

The price with free shipping for one at Silvertowne is probably OK ($19 something), but JM Bullion has free shipping for $99 or over and a better price. I bought 6 there for $18.05 each (would have been $17.35 each if I had felt like mailing a check).

  10. I didn't buy my Kangaroos from SilverTowne. We were discussing the Darth Vader coin.

If I were buying that many I probably would have bought elsewhere but for 1 it was a good deal & I did send a check!!

I likes the kangaroo at sunset coins....very plain but what a great design with the long shadow casting across the coin. Very well done. I have two can't recall what years they are one had a population of two when I purchased it.

I wanted to buy this coin when it first came out but wasn't willing to pay the $100 plus price that dealers were charging.

That's the best one @Paddy54 simple yet elegant. There is quite the premium with those ones.

    What's the official mintage?

I have to look it up but I believe I have one another date, and then they made a limited run on a card like 3-4 K, I believe that one was a Business strike not proof strike.
    the 2009 F-12 privy was 4000, the 2010 with the F-15 Privy was 5000
they were struck between 2009 -2011 in very limited runs of 4 -5 K

I found it at the Perth mint website. 5K was the mintage. There was a limit of 2 that could be ordered

Oops sorry didn't take into account the privy mark. Not sure on the mintage for that version

I think my other one is a 2009 I need to find it. But to be honest I can't believe the one above didn't get a 70. Not a mark on her.
