I don't have any coins listed in my My eBay: Searches you follow that really surprised me Oh well I'll think of something
What searches do you follow? It must incredibly specific to not have any results! (I'm sure you know this, but you can expand your searches to "worldwide" and sometimes get more hits).
I get to the point sometimes that I can't find something on eBay that will fill a hole. That generally occurs when all I have left to acquire are expensive items. That's when I start looking for a new collecting interest. Of course I still look for coins missing from my established sets. But I find I start losing interest when I can't find coins I want. This is why I started my SL "Arrows at Date" set; it keeps my interest up. Right now I have 37 out of the 45 Red Book listed coins from that group. I call it a "group" since it's not a "set" in the classic sense.
Right now the only thing on my list are Reading Railroad items......as far as coins there is only 1 that I want for my Lincoln set is a 55 DDO which I'll get next year. Unless I change my mind and go for it sooner
Did you see that Levar Burton had a successful Kickstarter campaign, and is bringing that show back? I'm really excited, it was a highlight of my childhood! Good luck on the hunt.
