Wow! That's a really cool clip. Back when I was building my Unusual Eisenhowers Showcase over on the PCGS Registry, I rarely ever came across either a 1977-D Clip or 1972-D Clip Eisenhower Dollar. One day, Fred Weinberg began posting a bunch of 77-D Straight Clips which I can only assume were recently acquired. I grabbed the best of the 2 since the other one was badly damaged and ungradeable. The clip was fairly minor but since I'd never come across one before, I just could not resist. I now see way more than I did in the past but they are still a bit scarcer than other years for the series.
