Mine look like this too. I do not think it is doubling, I think they almost have a blurry outline. It is a unique finish to the front of the medal... almost leather or snake skin looking
The legs of the first N aren't straight and the bar isn't either, being thicker in the lower half. I have seen this on DDR cents. I'm trying to get better pictures. Of that area. And others.
To me, that looks like light reflecting off the side of the lettering. If you rotate the coin or the lighting, does it look the same?
Exactly the same. I had to muffle the light to get good photos of what I was seeing. Why this blast white silver coin looks gold in the last photos.
I think better pictures would make a big difference.... in my opinion. If their is doubling.. I want to see this
Looks shelf like to me in those photos. I see not splitting. I see you posted this same photo over in another forum, I will contact Potter to have him take a peek, but pretty sure its not a DDO.
