    That's hilarious!

Just in case we lose this precious image of eBay numismatics, here's the coin in question.

I feel they're tooled but still worth buying at a very affordable price.

Looks fine to me :) (as said by the guy who tooled it)

Wow. The obverse is so heavily tooled that I'm not sure that's even the original portrait on this coin. I see almost none of the original device on this coin's obverse.

Is it wrong of me to want this as an example of tooling? I mean a pound isn't that bad ~$1.60.

Haha...ya, you're right, I'm not going to buy.

Would rather put that pound towards a pint.

Reminds me of a Hobo Nickel! This one is a Hobo Ancient! :hilarious:

Wow Pish, that is absolutely priceless ... that is what I imagine my impatient efforts would produce (hmmm, let's see ... who should I carve today?)

I'm with Jwt708 (it is "almost" ridiculous enough to bid on!!) ... looks like there might be a bidding war?!!

... I'd probably buy just for the lolz.

It's hobo nickel carving but on an ancient.

It is in Italy so you would probably never receive it.

That's it - me and Steve in a face-off! Bidding to see who will be the biggest loser!

I buy coins on Italian Ebay all the time and I have never had a problem with delivery to me in Calif. However, I have had problems with USA sellers on American Ebay.

I have never bought anything from Italy, but I have heard so many stories, it has put me off.
