Ooh! Cool find. Is that machine doubling or is it a doubled die?

What a find! Where did you get that? It's hard to tell from the photo but is that ear doubled? :) Smiles everyone, big smiles!

@physics-fan3.14 I think they are talking about the doubling on the motto and the date...now whether it's doubled or machine I don't know...I don't see any doubling on the ear

I'm really confused? Are you in a foreign country, and you are excited because you found an American coin? Are you thinking it is silver? (it's not - it's clad) Are you excited for the year? Are you excited because it's well circulated? Is it some variety that I'm unaware of? There were 1.65 billion of these made, and this one is worth 10 cents - these are extremely common in low grades.

Ohh... I see a bit of fatigue "doubling", but nothing worth a premium.

If that is one of those rare silver versions, then way COOL!!! It almost looks silver in this image.

Well I don't have my loop today but I could see this coin is doubled with my 54 yo necked eyes. For one the date and ear are doubled. 20150918_102057-1.jpg then there is the forehead and nose. To the best of my knowledge, Roosevelt didn't have a hump in his nose, maybe he did. 20150918_105447-1-1.jpg Then there is the doubling of the letters. Die deterioration maybe, maybe not. All the doubling seems to be in one direction, to the north west. To the best of my knowledge it all deterioration doubling should be towards the center of the coin. 20150918_105447-1-2.jpg But what do I know. I'm just a collector.

Sorry bro but I think in this case, this coin can best be summed up by the title of a Shakespearean play. I think you know it.....
