Hello everyone! I'm back!!! I'd like to say thank you to paddy for helping me get back to posting my finds on here ☺️ I've been researching and learning a ton about coins and their errors..... I have this 1994 P Washington Quarter with what I believe "might" be an error that I've never seen or have read about before....your thoughts are very much appreciated! Thanks in advance for all of your help!
Very cool find Dani but that's machine doubling most probably caused by die deterioration . Notice the ledge like shelf on one side of the letters . When ever you see a flat one sided ledge it's MD. However you're still searching and they are out there.... so keep up the hunt. Did you read the post regarding the 1919 dime that was just found this year it's a ddo? 96 year that puppy bounced around until someone spotted it this year. So never say never and keep plugging you ll hit pay dirt soon.
Ahhhh yes I did read about machine doubling having a shelf like appearance.....Ty! I've got plenty more to post....but choosing which one to post next will be a challenge for me!
Looks like MD but it sure is an interesting incident of it. Look at the second pic - the U looks completely outlined like Longacre Doubling. Moreover, the stroke of the letter does not appear affected, as one might expect of Machine Doubling. Interesting piece.
