I was talking with someone about this coin that I feel is different than the 005, but they swear they are right? I am right or wrong? the first picture is my coin and the second picture is the 005. opinions appreciated.
you see on the 005 how the pump is thin where the vertical bar of the frame is? and mine is strong from start to finish extending into window R3? and the vertical doubling on the right side of window L3 is broken by a gap and mine connects straight through? I can't believe he made me second guess myself. thanks for confirming.
I dunno that the doubling 'difference' is any more pronounced than the apparent difference between the entire coins. The lighting, color, shading, photography and PMD on the 2 vary enough to make it hard to tell. I guess same.
I'm hoping so... mr. Wexler got back to me about it and this is what he said... "It may be WDDR-005 or it might be a similar variety that is a new listing. I would have to see the coin itself. Attribution guidelines are attached. Also, I have about 6 packages in the processing line all containing NE Homestead quarters. By the time I get through those packages your coin might not be a new listing even though it may currently not be listed." I guess it's a waiting game now.
Especially the reflection of the stars on the 2 windows on the coin on the left. That was a coin produced at night while the coin on the right was produced during the day. That explains the different color. Too many noticeable differences to be the same. Good morning all.
