IMG_20150906_075004184.jpg I have a 1901 Morgan silver dollar with no mint mark. Does this make the coin more valuable? Here are some pictures of the quality of my coin too!

Your 1901 is from Philadelphia which makes it rarer than the "O" mint mark, and yours looks like a cleaned VF example probably worth $25 whole sale + or - $5.

There is a rare double die reverse variety that could give it a value of $300 or so in that condition, but I can't tell if yours is that variety from the photos.

What types of errors should I be looking for with this coin. I'm not sure how to tell if this over had that effect or not

You can get a magnifying lens and look at the tail feathers at the bottom of the eagle's feathers. If you notice slight doubling of the bottom part of the feathers, then you have a double die.

Fortunately, we're just a little crazy. On VAMWorld, they're all VAMpires.

Frankly, I'm still learning how to use this darn computer. I just got it last October, and still can't figure out how to post photos.

First click reply, then you'll see "Upload a File," click that and a window will pop up for you to choose the file from your computer. Click the file you want to upload, then click "ok." Then choose thumbnail or full image, most like it if you choose full image. And then click "post reply." I took a screenshot as I was posting so you can see where the "Upload a File" is located on your reply window. upload2.png

Go to the top of your page, you'll see your username. Hover over it and a dropdown menu will appear. Go down the list and find Avatar. Click on it. You'll see a button that says Browse, click that and upload a picture from your computer. Not sure what the dimensions have to be. Edit: I just looked. It says it recommends your photo be at least 200 x 200 pixels.

If you send your photos to a cloud or website based depository like Photobucket, you can paste it from there using the 'picture' icon , to the right of the emoticon smileyface.

Thank you for the directions. What I have been trying to do (unsuccessfully) is snap a live shot of myself on my Avatar from my computer screen.

Edit: I forgot this part. If you are replying on the thread and not to a particular person, you don't have to click "reply" first. Just go to the very bottom of the page and you'll see the box to make a post. Just start typing in the box, and once you type what you want to say, then click "Upload a File" to add your picture.
