Has not come yet, but I ordered the 3" Jimmy Carter medal from the US Mint. Obviously, seller's pictures:
Bought the slab, not the coin, although it is an MS70. My all time favorite baseball player, Nolan Ryan. Styled my own pitching form to match his in high school and college. I already have a few of his autographs, but this is the coolest and you can't argue the authenticity.
Nolan was quite the character, here he is clowning around with an opposing team member, pulling the old classic, Here, smell my sweaty arm pit joke.
I love both of your acquisitions so much that I think I will look into finding examples for my own collection .. Two of my favorite pitchers of all time and great memories .. I even worked at The Vet as a vendor in high school and got to see Lefty pitch many a game Great pieces guys .. Enjoy !!
I loved the VET many good memories.....the return of Dick Allen what a night...had a customer that did a lot of work there...on and on
Hey everyone I'm new and I love collecting coins. I just started a job and I work the register. I see different coins every day and it so much fun collecting. I have a 1948 nickel that seems to be an error and I love errors they are fun to look for and I would like some opinions on what everyone thinks. I would also like to know how much this could be worth.
Newp from the 'bay. Sellers pics as it hasn't arrived yet. I have hopes this one might rival @WingedLiberty's "half dollar type set" walker.
