They are at the house, so I can't take a pic right now. Very worn. Probably my most worn ones I own.

Went to a bunch of banks yesterday asking for halves, dollar coins, and 2 Dollar bills.
Came away with nothing too special
    2 Proof Grant dollars
1 Really worn 2000 dollar coin (close to PO1)

Sometimes (often) I wonder why I keep looking after so many fruitless attempts. Then I'll find a few keepers in a box and my faith is restored. This is definitely not a get rich quick scheme, or even a get rich slowly scheme. It may be the worst way to make money ever devised...how many of us ever sell the silver coins found for what the market dictates? I suspect there will be mounds of coins our heirs will need to decide what to do with.

JACKPOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! Today at work, the tellers were bagging coins and asked if I would help (as they know I am a collector). I went through 5,000 dimes (I kid you not) and there were ten rolls (500 dimes) that were wrapped from a bank that hasn't been around in forty years. Those ten rolls were all silver!!!!!!! A combo of Roosies and Mercuries. I gave $50 to a teller and took my findings worth over $500.

Now time to see if there are any key dates.

Went to a friend's house to look through their coins.
Nothing too special except a BU 1960 Quarter.
I still haven't found a silver quarter in my own change hahaha!

well, finally made it through that $4k (four bags) of Ikes. Found 3 silver (2x 72s and a 73s) the 73 looks like it went through a fire.
also 6 Bi-Cent p v.1 all but one is nice condition AU or better.
still have to get the computer microscope out to ck all the 72p for v. I II and III
Pulled a lot of AU grade nicer coins. I'm thinking since they are getting scarce as hen's teeth at the banks maybe there will be some value there finally.
also, FINALLY found a decent 1971p dime for my album. those stinkers are RARE here in the left coast. Have only seen 2, the first was a Good grade at best but this looks like at least an EF but maybe better.

    Wow!! Congratulations!

If you find lots of nice doubles, i'd probably be interested in buying some. I've only found like 8 Rosies and no Mercs.

Went through $200 in CWRs quarters yesterday and found my first proof quarter. Somewhat scrached up, yes, but precious to me!!

    2001-S North Carolina. :)

    $80 CWR Nickels -
    - 17 pre-1960 keepers
    - 1945-S war nick, well worn
    - 1920 buffalo. First I've found in circulation since early in the year.
    - 1941 that could be a lamination error. I say "could be" because it's pretty well worn and shows some obvious post mint damage. Not a show piece by any standards.
    - 1951-S hole filler. Need 7 more (all pre-1945) to complete my circulating set of Jeffersons

I've gone my bank numerous times, asked to make a withdrawal and always told the teller I'm having a garage sale and need a roll of pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters and halves, if they have them. They give them to me, I go home, go through them and if I don't find anything, a couple of days, go back and deposit them at the coin machine at the bank back into my account. Have only found one coin so far worth anything.

Simple search of $30 in nickels (all CWR except one BWR).

    Got a 54-S and a crusty 44-P.

Searched another $250 in BWR dimes - zilch

The $50 in CWR cents churned up a 1930 and six other 40s and 50s wheats and that was is.

    Then $100 in BWR nickels
    1 1930 Buffer in VF
    2 1939
    2 40s S mints
    7 other 40s dates
    2 war nickels, 1943-P and a 1945-D

While cashing them out at the credit union machine found two amusement tokens and a British 5p coin.

I got ten rolls of pennies last week. I asked if there were any customer rolled, she went to the vault and brought some out. They looked bank wrapped but weren't new. I noticed a wheat on one end. Searched them and found:

1-1910 with dirt, which is most likely someones metal detector find.
    1-1940
    1-1941
    1-1942
    1-1944
    4-1945
    2-1946
    1-1950 D
    1-1951 D and 1 1951 S
    2-1955 not DD :(
    1-1956 D
    1-1958 D
