Why don't you like the new PCGS slabs?

I don't like the feel of the plastic and the added thickness makes them seem bulky and brittle (as they are less pliant). They also don't fit in any of my slotted cases!

What's the matter, they dont want to waste their printer ink putting Morgan on the label?

Looks empty, like they are leaving off information, even though there isn't any info left to put

Well rats, I just sent 21 coins in and they arrived today. I hate this new label.

Well, it's a label, so honestly who cares so long as it has all of the identifying and grade information on it. I collect coins, not labels.

Must be a slow news day.

Just don't stare too long. There might be a subliminal message.

I have a strange urge to send some nice coins in the mail. I just don't know where to send them?

I don't mind the new look. I do like that the grade is bolder.

The new label, as someone mentioned, does look like their existing ancient coin product. It should give plenty of room for pedigrees, varieties, and similar.
I hope they make a sample of the new style.

Kind of confusing as the label reads 1886 then way over here S$1 makes it seem like it's an S when it's a P. We all know it's silver. Maybe that's standard to have S as silver, but I had to check for a mint mark. I don't own a slabbed Morgan so maybe that's standard.

Maybe they're freeing up space so CAC can make giant stickers, or so @dwhiz can make jumbo "better than bacon" stickers. :)

IDK if I would like the new label. I'm more curious as to how the label is gonna look with varieties?. I have a few coins that I want to submit to NGC that are error coins and I don't want to see a plain label with the text off to the left. I think they should stay centered, IMO.

Yes it's normal... with NGC anyways. I don't recall if PCGS does this.

You are right I was referring to the label. Thanks for the clarification going back and rereading it I see I didn't do a good job.

Seems very small for how big of an area they have to work with..... to be honest, love the coin much more :D

Funny I was thinking the same more space for stickers.
I believe the CAC founder was involved with NGC at one time.

I prefer this label over the brown label it replaced. I'm not enamored with either, but IMO, this is an improvement.

When I posted this I didn't even consider the thought of CAC or Eagle Eye or Stupplers PQ stickers . It makes sense though . Those stickers can sometimes get in the way of the real info on the label.

Thanks to all for the compliments on the coin as well .
