    We need no books or any information on errors this is coming from the coins. Start at the end and go to the begining. So if the experts dont want to get involve which they wont because its hard to except. You never know it might come out to being what they say now in the books and what is being taught. I dont think it is all correct. You all will discover new things and it is going to be fun as someone said an adventure.
    Thank you all for comments. Rick dont back out now. Look i have no microsope and i do accept everything in errors the way they say they are created, some are what they say but what about the ones they debate about. i am not teaching anything or giving false information. Lets start.....

    Just give me time to get good examples. This example is on every coin ever made by a press machine...

    You guys have nothing to loose and maybe have fun listening to me of what i say.
    For all the comments do not stop posting on what is on your mind even if there crul, mean, funny, and trying to be funny. Please do not tell someone not to post what they feel or who they are. Do you get what i am saying by who they are. Numismat by you posting that message i can see that you dont believe me and that you do care and think about others after laughing. For everyone reading this Dont change for no one but yourself if you dont like who you are on the inside, who cares what anyone else says or thinks about you or any others they talk about. It dose not make it true, by someone saying something about anything its a thought and that thought comes from inside there own mind.

    You guys are the ones that are going to figure out and discover new things and fix old things, because i dont know as much as you guys know and everyone makes a bigger mind together.
    I will guide you or get you started, i have no reason for doing this so i have nothing to gain.

    Well I just spent the better part of 45 minutes reading this thread instead of learning something icon_smile_frustrated.gif

    Reflections on this conversation;

    I laughed hardest at this
    And a close second, and actually something I fully support at this moment. ..

    Now i will give you some pictures of coins and every coin has what seems to be dots, points or markers and a guide that show the direction of each character on the design. What i think are caused by the force of the strike from the press. As the, lets say a number creates a wave of the points of that number and mark on to the coin with each wave line from the vibrations caused with a lot of force or pressure by the press. Example like the wave coming on to shore that creates a ripple affect. everytime the top of the wave comes down its brought down with force. that what marks a line in the sand in and off the oceans floor. Im sure of a coin being stamped or struck over and over in the exact same spot, it will become visuable. So that got me thinking maybe you can spot a double die and other errors with these dots hmmm....here see if you can see these dot on these coins if not ill post another with arrows. You can also look at any coins you have it will have those dots also.
    I AM having problems posting pictures. Hmm..

    IMHO my rules are If you like searching for errors, anything odd gets separated and kept for later searching, RPMs are the highest to set your hopes. My finds will prob never be worth much, except to me! Error section of the forum is a trap! An "Expert" answering a rookie question with "Nope" "MD" or correcting doubled when if you call it double die but not answer your question. Stop asking the"experts" and all is good! Keep um all and you always might have something good! and hey.... maybe one day you'll get lucky....nah!

    Almost all DDOs and DDRs have what's called " Markers " . Theses Markers can be dots, polishing lines, die groves and etc .

    teachmind, I am no where near an expert and will never claim to be. You might be on to something, but most likely no. The experts became that way because they have a lot of time invested in the hobby and some do it just to be the one to discover it! If it exists it would probably already be known! I let them Discover! You don't seem Grouchy enough to be with them guys anyway. Stay a newbie with me. We can ask them questions all we want, over and over. They like it ;) The best answer you get actually is when they won't answer at all.

    I'm Jealous of your 98 WAM btw!

    Those picture suck too blurry but I can see the dots or points. let me know if you don't see what the hell I am talking about. some of the points look like tiny lights and they are in line, you can see it on the dime mostly.

    Thank you both, I just got lucky with the wam because it was maybe the 9th coin out of the 1998 cents. I will always speak what I see and what is taught from my mind. Hey why not the mind is the most powerful thing in the world. Teachmind
