Precisely - one interest breeds another. Speaking of kids, I have a friend who says raising children is like being pecked to death by a chicken. No truer words...
I dunno, but I miss that time in my life. My boys are as old as many of you (both in their mid-40s), but I look back on that time with great fondness. Of course, they say you really only remember the good stuff. I now have a grandson, but for the time being he lives in Poland. No one around to try to interest in my coins.
Whats up with little boys desire to welcome there father home from work with a punch to the nads? @Ancientnoob LOL, actually Little Girls did that crap TOO! OUCH!!! Don't even TALK about that! That was almost 30 years ago, and it STILL hurts!!!
Lol! I seldom realize that I am on the younger spectrum of Coin Talk's Ancient forum members. Magnus Maximus=20 years old! Life is fun!
LOL, enjoy it! I think when you speak to ANY of us, a lot of times our reference points of ourselves in our minds is when we were early 20's. I remember when I asked my mother what she felt ( several years ago), when she turned 75. She said...no difference, because she is always thinking of herself when she was 20!
