I bought one. More than I usually spend on impulse purchases, but it's a praying mantis and I've bought hardly any coins this summer.

Should be at the six o'clock position below the central circle with the 4A face value. Looks like yours is "33" ...

Here's an interesting coin I just purchased.
Ireland 1966 10 shillings (30 mm, .835 silver) celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Easter uprising.
This reverse (shown) depicts mythical Irish hero Cú Chulainn.
The obverse: Irish revolutionary Patrick Pearse who was executed in 1916 as a leader of the uprising.

Nice piece, and in great condition, assuming that it is not counterfeit (there are lots of fakes around). Wrong? Umm, he was not actually ruler of Cyprus and Jerusalem, but such traditional titles were and maybe are common. So what else is wrong? :)

Good design, I think, also because it is not to "full" and because of the font used. Next year, by the way (100th anniversary), Ireland will issue its first "own" €2 commemorative coin, plus silver and gold collector coins, all dedicated to the Easter Rising ...

Here's a contrast to that wonderful Morlon design. This is an aluminum coin issued in France during German occupation. Kinda similar, but mostly not.

I just bought this Souvenir Peso from Daniel Sedwick Coins. Any thoughts on the apparent obverse adjustment mark? I love these coins and the history behind them.

Old and cloudy semi-soft plastic makes it hard to get clear photos but coins are in great shape. 1975 Liberia proof Set. Mintage 4,046

I am selling some coins and made a mistake by listing a couple of them for 10 days instead of 7 days. The problem is that now the coin's will not end on Sunday night as I had planned. Does anyone know if the listing time can be changed once bids have been placed? I wouldn't worry so much but some are really special to me:

I'm selling this one but I wanted to share it before its gone because it's a beauty. It's an 1870 Proof Paraguay Centesimo. PR-66 (NGC). I don't think it's even listed in Krause. If anyone knows more about this set I'd love to hear it...

So do I. One of the pluses to collecting the mint and proof sets, is that I can add the large Silver Crowns to my World Silver collection at a much lower cost than buying individually.
