I'll go with MS63 and the toning is unattractive.

In my opinion, that's an MS62, unless they gave some credit for the toning. The face and neck are too marked up to grade higher.

Blowing it up serves no purpose. Even the OP's photo is larger than an image that a grader would view.

62...63 rev...the "toning" is artificial and looks to be more like a spilled liquid.

Surely you aren't suggesting that a grading company didn't catch an AT coin.

Of course blowing it up serves a purpose. That's why graders use magnifying glasses and I am just as blind as they are!

I can see it helping in distinguishing a small details or if marks are hit , especially for people like me with bad eyes . But you're definitely right as most graders don't even use a loupe or at most maybe 3-5X . Also a large pic will exaggerate any blemishes quite badly .

Some good insights here! I personally like the toning and the contrast between the obverse and untoned reverse. I believe the obverse may be 60/61 and the reverse 63/64, so a net of 62 seems correct from NGC:

"That's the funny part, I don't recall" the OP "staring a thread that said:" guess the VAM. Sound familiar? Just an example, Rich... ;)

As for the attribution, and just a thought, but since no one else has touched upon this, perhaps you could use this as an opportunity to educate.

That sounds good, but in my experience, they don't do that. Nobody does it. Well, excepting in very exceptional cases. The reverse is better. But that's a legitimate MS62 on its face, without any help.

If I'm a troll, Rich, for holding you to the same standard you demand of others, that's fine, but at least have the decency to admit your childish hypocrisy; the first part of my post, short the subject, was an exact quote of your recent whine. I touch upon something very reasonable not asked by the OP in one thread, and because of it you say I'm a "troll", yet it's perfectly acceptable when you do the very same thing in someone else's thread? What does this make you? Of course the deflective "troll" accusation usually comes from the desperate with nothing else to back up their positions, which certainly seems to be the case here as well.

Oh, and as for my little problem at the end, its also the answer to your question, dear guru. One might assume that the fellow just trying to give "more bang for the buck" to Morgan collectors would have recognized this, or realized that I, the "troll", was the only one to play along with his "that seem funnier" suggestion, but apparently the obvious easily escapes you. While the desire to help others is certainly a noble one, you would, perhaps, be wise to remember that charity begins at home.

Well, from what I gather, this has to do with a little more than this thread. I suggest you get a room, boys.
