We affectionately call our larger bronzes hockey pucks, and that's about what you'd have to do to damage them. This coin, for instance, isn't going to be affected by breathing. Hell, I could give it a spit-shine and it would be ok.

Hockey puck...good place for a Ptolemy? ;) Maybe red_spork's dinner plate?

    I'll restrain myself.

You need to get a cheapo camera with macro and snap your own pics. That's all I have. You've got your own hockey pucks as well. For that matter, so does medoraman, but we've given up on him. Evidently he's got something against cameras and pics and such. Maybe he was Amish in a past life?

I am Quaker, so close. :)

In reality, busy job, wife, two sons aged 4 and 2, and it will just get worst in a few weeks when I start my doctorate program.

Yes, good luck to you. I was accepted to one just over ten years ago, but didn't go. It was a good decision for me then, because the recession soon hit. Go for it. All the best to you.

It will be finance. A state university near me offers it on a part time basis. I also was offered a full time doctorate slot about a decade ago, but didn't want to be poor again. This tuition is brutal, but still better than having to lose my full time job.
