I share this same dupondius from my almost-complete 12 Caesars collection:

    3a - Tiberius AE dupondius - dual.jpg
I'm still looking for the elusive Tiberius sestertius (portrait, imperial mint) as one of the three coins needed to complete my collection.

Tiberius' coins tend to be uninspired and, let's face it, downright boring. This dupondius is a pleasant deviation from that sameness. While it's commonly believed that the face in the center of the reverse is also Tiberius, I've noted that not all references to this coin agree with this interpretation.

Nice! I like this type a lot. I made a bid for one with the MODERATIONI reverse legend in a recent auction but fell far far short of what it eventually hammered. Ah well, one day, perhaps...

I have given up on a 12 Caesar's set. Too expensive for me:(
Its just a Siliqua and LRB diet for me.:hungry:
    Nice coin Ro.
If I remember correctly, when Tiberius died in 37 CE, the crowds in Rome chanted "To the Tiber with Tiberius"
