I read numismatic magazines, websites, books, & listen to the Coin Show Radio podcast. I have a want list so I check online to see if I can find any good deals for those coins.

I was thinking that too. I haven't roll searched in a while and feeling the itch to search. It is always fun to find something and paying face value for it. My favorite finds are Mercury dimes and buffalo nickels.

I buy a lot from the U.S. Mint, so I never have downtime.

I'm always on the hunt, there's never a down time. Window shopping is always fun,and sometimes rewarding as if you are not interested in pulling the trigger you may know of a fellow collector who may. And in turn may reward you for the tip.

I fish and stay away from coin forums, auction sites and eBay....just like I'm doing kinda, sorta, right now...

Leaving for my Canadian fishing vacation, so I thought I would get a quick coin fix!

Read books, research new areas of numismatics, and go through piles I have bought before. If I really get desperate I go to the sdb and pull out a box.

Haven't been collecting that long? Then concentrate on learning. Reading and learning about coins always is advantageous, and it's fun!

I'm leaving for Kauai this Friday...that should be a nice distraction.

Focus on homework, purchase a box of coins from the bank, research my next purchases, figure out how I'm gonna pay for all these coins. I also am currently delving into periodic table coins to quench my love of chemistry and coins.

Honestly, either scenario applies here. I re-inventory all my gold and silver and re-arrange the different type sets, foreign, domestic, micro-sets, bullion, rounds, bars, junk silver, etc. I re-inventory my vault and look for ways to make more room so I can fit more stuff in my vault. Sometimes, I go through my comic books and if I get bored of one I give it away or sell it on E-Bay (to make another purchase of silver...lol). I look at my coins in 2X2 Mylar flips and re-type the information if they look old or need replacing. I sometimes, look at my numismatic library and find out what books my favorite authors recommend. Q. David Bowers and R.S. Yeomen are my favorite authors so I look on Amazon for anything related. When I am need for a quick "fix" I look for silver I no longer want or am interested in and see if I can make a trade or barter with someone else for something that I have been wanting for a long time. I am usually pretty good at keeping myself busy most of the time. If all else fails I play my favorite PC game; "The Witcher 3: The Hunt". That pretty much sums it up.

Ever see a picture of Scrooge shuffling a stack of gold coins? Yep, that's what I do.

I should have said that too. Sometimes its fun to simply pull out something like a bag of indian head cents, or a couple hundred face of junk silver, and Scrooge McDuck it and have fun. :D

I buy coins to flip and/or sell off coins I no longer want so I can start looking again...
