In 2008, the US Mint took a long hard look at all the various products they were offering. Coin and Die Sets, State Quarter Spoons, Presidential Dollar Signature Sets, and they canned them all! I was mostly disappointed that the got rid of the Presidential Dollar Signature item since they made terrific Library Collectibles! Each came in a well designed book style folder with cut outs to show the Proof coin of the President and an intaglio print of the President. For only $19.95! Of course, today it would b up to $29.95 but that's beside the point. The offering presented a tasteful method of collecting each Presidential Proof which could easily be stored on a bookshelf. The product had had minimal takers so it got shelved. After it was discontinued, priced spiked at around $120 for each one but today, I'd be lucky to get the original issue price for them. It's stuff like this that drives me crazy! Starting an offering for a particular coin series and then dropping it a few years in OR Coming up with a "new" offering with only a year and a half left on the program! They've lost their minds..............
A member over on the CU Forums posted this picture from the US Mints web site. I enlarged it a smidge but for the life of me, cannot find it on the US Mint's web site. Basically, it looks like a repeat of the 2014 Native American Coin & Currency Set and I would imagine it will also have an Enhanced Uncirculated version of the Native American Dollar.
Well that was close! If I really enlarge the photo it looks like it says: Gfhsjh dfjkdtior ir jkdll jgjreopj idj phfftts t thjshj ehhe Or something along those lines.......

Scooped ya TC........ https://www.cointalk.com/threads/20...ency-set-product-information-revealed.266806/
Where did they get 90,000 mintage anyway? Why not 100,000? I would have preferred them to keep it at 50,000 like last year. This one may take a while to sell out, although if they do not make enough at the opening bell, and it goes to backorder status that may increase prices in the short term. The MOD sets at 75,000 mintage have almost fallen back down to original issue price on eBay. If 90,000 of these get produced and eventually sold, I would expect the same to happen with this set long term. TC
