Hi, I was wondering if there was a reason to keep this note. I assume because it has a stamp mark and pin-holes no, but I thought I would ask anyway. Thank you.
Eh...only 192,000 printed, so kinda scarce, and yours has a kinda low serial as well. The condition does leave a lot to be desired, but I'd have a hard time convincing myself to spend this one.
If it's going on eBay make sure you add 10% for eBay fees and another 3% for PayPal and add in cost of shipping and make that the absolute lowest you would be willing to accept. So in this case around $118.00 and your breaking even. See how much similar notes have sold for in the past to get an idea of wether it's worth selling or not.
It's not like it's going to go up in value over the next 10, 20, or 30 years. I invest/spend it, unless you can get $170+ for it on eBay (not really worth your time if you only stand to make $40 after fees and shipping). Just my 2 cents.
I would spend it because it has a teller stamp on the front. Yes it is a star and Yes it is kind of a low number. We have given you some information, now its your turn.
Thank you for all the responses, I will probably just hang on to it for now. If I need to spend it at some point I will. I don't think e-bay will be worth the trouble.
I would keep this note due to the fancy number and it being from a low run. Other than that, it is a $100.
