Thank you for informing me of this interesting, but tragic story. It does actually remind me of my dream, except of the bad ending.
A regular dream which I have is that I'm putting coins in a slot machine and win several jackpots. The weird irony here is that I never go on those machines because I know they are a con. So what does the dream mean?
Interesting question. Since dreams are mostly symbolic, and a distortion of wakeful experiences, I suggest you try to remember where you have been recently, and what you were doing that could have related to maybe your work experiences (if you are employed), or a store you were in etc.
I think this is true... MY coin dreams are FIRST about finding MONEY, THEN collectibles, and there's never anything remarkable about dream-coins found. As a youngster in the 60's, I always had the best luck of me & buddies, finding soda bottles to return for $$ (and did quite well @ it). And the fact that I've found money everywhere I went has re-enforced those dreams. Worked in bars in college, and drove a cab and limo @ night. In August '85, found $173 in unmarked envelope. Same month, found $5 showing through rain-soaked envelope in hotel parking lot, AND in ONE night, same club, same month, found $54 in a money clip with tiny Gold ingot, a $10 within :30, and before leaving, a $1. Pffttt - thinkin' to self, should I even bend over? Can't you guys do better than that? I walked around campus all that year with the back of my neck VERY tanned. And dreamed about diving and finding more (and about a babe in Chem III)
Yup...sometimes have dreams I'll be walking along the beach and stumble across some hoard of pristine bust halves or something like that.
None of my coin dreams really stick out on their own but they all seem to be connected in a way. All my coin dreams seem to have me found coins or hunting for them. I wonder if my dreams are trying too tell me something?
