And how is it you arrive at that from what you said? I guess that's what I'm having a little trouble following.
Cop out. I'm saying you're being conclusory. And you're all over the place on your issues. The claim was these are necessary for circulating sets. How many more ways can I explain to you why they aren't? You don't want to show any rationale because you're all out of that. So, OK, I'll see you in five years. But they're still not going to be necessary for circulating sets and collectors of same aren't where any appreciation if any in value is going to come from. And I'll bet you a shiny new dime on that.
Re-read what I said. I'd say you're all over the place - now you're saying necessary. I didn't say necessary, I said many/most will want the proofs. Anyway, five years, the bet is on.
No need to wait 5 yrs. Within the next 3-4 yrs you will hear me say "I told you so" this MoD set is now trading for < issue price.
History says otherwise. I cannot recall any other issue that, after the initial increase in prices and then the slow gradual retraction to a stable level has then shot up again. Can you remind me of one? These dimes are still on the way down, they haven't reached bottom yet.
Raw MOD sets climbing now. $105.00 a set http://www.ebay.com/itm/2015-MARCH-...155?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item463da3af5b
Well sure when you put in most of the 23 bids. Or was that some other shill trying to drive up the prices?
That was three days ago. This was yesterday. http://www.ebay.com/itm/US-Mint-201...144?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item51d41fe1a0
Sobering reality......still, glad I coped three sets......... Excuse me.....5. One set went to a much esteemed friend. He was out of town and needed some help in procuring a set.
Really? These dimes haven't shot up yet, they've traded steadily in the $100 range, even with flippers flipping like crazy.
It was unfortunate the mint included the dollar coin in this set. Doing that insured it would be overproduced and worth pretty much melt in the future. These are already selling for less than issue price while they're still being sold by the mint. I saw a PF 70 sell for $53 on the bay. If the set would have been just the dimes it could have been sold for much less and things wouldn't look so dire now.
Really? The dimes cost an extra $10 for both. Nothing looks dire to me, with 400 ads on eBay and prices holding.
You guys need to stop shooting all your ammo so soon, you'll have nothing left to do yourself in when the price goes to the moon within 5 years.
