haha and as you were typing that it moved into the shipped category. My 1852 large Cent went XF-40 (kinda figured) and my 1948-D Franklin went Au-55 Which I figured it was a low MS. I had the Franklin slabbed because it was a gift and I wanted to make sure it stayed around.

 

An interesting thing about most 1914-D and some 1910 Indians... they look like they have been in a bezel, even though they have not.

Not so much here. (Well, SP69 is fine, of course.)

 

Not here either. I have found anacs to be slightly tougher than ngc as of late.

 

I had noticed that about mine. Had wondered if it was damaged, but glad to know it's kinda normal on these.

I sent mine in on July 3rd... Still waiting for them to be sent back.

 

Nope, as usual. ANACS seems kinda strict to me. My half cent I didn't really want to send because I knew it was a problem. My half I was just curious what a 3rd party thought but my shield nickel I figured was a question of 58 or 63 but what I got was a shock.

 

Yikes. I agree they are a little too strict lately. Makes me wonder if I should start buying graded anacs coins, and crossing them over?

 

They were certainly tough.
