Nicaragua Cordobas - Return Trip Gift - ILMG

    I want to share these coins and paper money that my girlfriend gave to me as a gift on her return missionary trip from Nicaragua this past week.
    The coins state EN DIOS CONFIAMOS (IN GOD WE TRUST)
    They are
    1 Cordoba - Coin (2 different designs)
    5 Cordobas - Coin
    10 Cordobas - Paper
    20 Cordobas - Paper
    Enjoy :D (ILMG in my title means I Love My Girlfriend)

    Good heavens, their paper money looks like it would be more difficult to counterfeit than ours in the US, more attractive engravings too.
    Very interesting stuff, I'd never seen any of those...and it's interesting that they have IGWT on their currency.

    Nice coins and notes. I like a coins of Nicaragua too:) I would say: their design is great!

    Yours are great. Never seen old ones like that. Interesting that the 1887 says 20 CENTS, maybe they shortened CENTAVOS ;)
