An 1885 Carson City Morgan MS64 really ?

 

It's the only raw Morgan I have that I would send in. It is now on it's way to NGC and I requested the retro holder

My only Morgan. I purchased this in honor of my daughter's love for BIG SHINY RAINBOWS.

 

I think toned Morgan's are stunning.

Well, it's kind of a moot point since I sold all of my Morgans earlier this year, but I had two favorites. One was the 1885-CC VAM-4 Doubled Dash Hot 50, PCGS MS65 and the other was an 1882-CC VAM-2C3 Hit List 40, NGC MS63.

Here is a closeup of the MM. At one time I knew which VAM it was. I haven't owned the coin for 5 years.
