Selling error coins

    Where is the best place to sell my extra error coins? My local coin dealer doesn't deal in error coins.

    most do not, unless they are very big errors, 55DD and so.

    Any coin show of any size will almost certainly have an "error guy" you can sell them to. Or, there's always eBay.

    If you are talking major errors then you might contact Fred Weinberg in Ca. who specializes in these. If minor then Ebay.

    Depending what they are...... I know you can contact Jim at Jim's coins. and have him put them in his error auctions if you do not want to mess with fleebay.

    very good info! I am dumping all my Cent finds from the last year...many wide AM, 84 ddo, grease filled dies, etc...I didnt want to mess with fleebay, I was gona try Craig's list first. Then again I keep telling myself to send the 84 into pcgs and get a basic membership...idk what to do :p

    If you use Craig's list please use a bank to conduct your business. I have heard horror stories about visitors coming to you from an ad only to scope your hose out for a robbery later.
