Out of the four major designs used for the silver coins (Draped Bust, Capped Bust, Seated Liberty, and Barber) in the 1800s, what's your favorite? Feel free to discuss why!
Well the seated type is a favorite of mine with u.s. coins, but actual beauty with the female, draped bust for sure.
seated here, lasted for SOOOO long. If I could afford it though, I'd probably change my vote to draped bust.
Not much on Barbers I do like their reverse , for my money any of the first 3 would do. I guess if I had to pick one it would be seated as they have a lot of varieties .
My favorite is probably the Capped Bust design. I hate to admit it, but I've never owned a Seated coin! Shameful, I know! I really need to get at least one of those, since they are a pretty cool design.
Draped Bust would be my favorite out of those four. However, I like the Trade Dollar design the most out of all 19th century coins.
Barbers, I like the design, and the represent the true "Gold vs. Silver Standard" battle and the turn of the century values
