  3. I only have a bronze horse about to roll, and a silver horse grazing. That's one of the nicer bronze forward facing Greeks I've seen on here. Beautiful.

    Larissa always had some of the best horses. Everyone remembers their coins for the 3.4 facing busts, but I love their horse designs.

    I love the horse coins from Larissa and wish I had more.

    Here are my two drachm.

    Thessaly, Larissa, Silver Drachm
    Obv:– Youth wrestling or restraining bull, both to left.
    Rev:– LARI/SAIA, bridled horse galloping right, rein trailing, all in incuse square
    Minted in Thessaly, Larissa from .c. 440-400 B.C.
    Ref:– SNG Cop 110. SGCV I 2111
    6.022g, 20.0mm, 270 degrees

    Rev: horse standing right, head turned left; around, zig zag border.
    Ref: SLM 1118. Dembski 73, 396. (I'll have to take the seller's word on that for now. If any of you have a Celtic reference and find this inaccurate, please let me know.)
