I brought 3 coins that all looked like Decentius but once cleaned up this one looks like a bare headed Magnentis? What does everyone think? Thanks Jason
Thanks guys. Attachdo is the reverse. I'm fairly new to this but I thought bare headed was for when they are ceasers? And I didn't think he held that title, we went "straight to Augustus"? So I guess I'm asking us it common for this emperor to have a coin bare headed? Thanks in advanced. Jason
Magnentius is usually portrayed with his head bare although he assumed the title of Augustus, while Decentius is always portrayed bare headed.
