Can't you just rotate the magnifier itself 180 degrees in the same plane?

LOL I suppose. That's not how I hold it when using though. I just showed that for the display shown. I think the way I'm holding it in the photo is the "right" way to hold it but I have found that if the end with the adjustment wheels is nearer my fingertips it's easier to hold steady while looking and zooming/focusing at the same time.

So they made it for LEFTIES! Now that's cutting your market share by 85%. Coincidently my cheapo Chinese scope (which stinks) does the same thing but inverts the image so I have to run it through a camera app that re-inverts it to the proper orientation. I feel your pain.
