Since there was some interest in another thread I decided to post a new thread for my Otho denarius. It was my first ancients purchase and I bought it at the Ontario Numismatic Association meeting this past April in Niagara Falls Canada.

Otho AR Denarius. Rome Mint. Obv: IMP M OTHO CAESAR AVG TR P, bewigged head right Rev: SECVRITAS P R, Securitas standing left, holding wreath & scepter. RIC I, 8, RSC 17.

Here's another re-shoot of my Otho. It's hard to capture since it is so shiny, but this is the best I have been able to get so far:

Well, I'm still Otho-less, bewigged or not LOL...

But, I will be getting one sometime this year, depending on the good graces of Fortuna or sheer luck...

    Super coins guys!!!
