Welcome to both of you Christian and JAG. Thanks for the link as well JAG. It may prove to be most helpful.

Post some images, one at a time is preferred. We will all get involved.

Sure, this Ancient thread is always open to anyone seeking help in any way...sometimes it takes a while for all the others to catch a new thread, but they ALL love to help in any way they can (like Bing just posted..)

Sometimes, it just makes it educational and fun to search a bit on your own while you're waiting for a response..

Also log on to Forumcoins.com and check out all the helpful stuff they offer as well.

Use JPG images one per thread and many more people will bother to look. Certainly any sign that a new poster makes that suggests he has any interest in the coins other than appraising their value will bring out more helpers. Any sign you have been reading the list and seen how others do it might also help. Wholesale zip packages will not work.

I refuse to go anywhere near .zip files on the internet, unless I know the author.

I didn't look at the original file. Upload images, but don't expect us to open zip files. You can compress the images and still leave them as jpgs if you are worried the files are too large. I agree with AN. Don't risk opening zip files.

This first coin is a City Commemorative. It is too worn for me to tell much about it, but here is an example from my collection:

This coin is also too worn to tell much about it, but it is similar to this Gratian with the reverse REPARATIO REIPVB, Gratian standing front, head left, holding Victory on globe and raising kneeling female on left:

The last coin is a Vota coin, but again, it is too far gone to know much about it:

The gold solidus is Honorius from Ravenna mint. I believe the second is Theodosius I (from traces of DOSI I may be imagining) with reverse of emperor with kneeling woman. I don't have the type by Theodosius but here are Gratian, Valentinian II and Magnus Maximus who also used the type from several mints.

The Vota coin is clearly Nicomedia mint (SMNB) and I think I may be seeing Theodosius I again but that is pure imagination.
