    because its biblical it is some how intesting?

    I would have never guessed it would be so expensive...

    Another coin that won't be in my collection during my lifetime... LOL

    It would seem the $6000 is a typo as beneath it reads 537 EUR. That's still strong, considering the $150 estimate, but slightly less illogical.

    not completed with the letters P.T.I.O.L

    The question remains: Is this one of the million available types that you must have for your collection even if it is $6000? Same question but $100. I know there are many who pay extra for any coin in any was associated with any place mentioned in the Bible. Does that make a $10 coin into a $100 coin? Maybe. A $6000 coin? Someone thinks so and they only have to convince one person with $6000 they are right. Maybe they will be glad to sell it for 90% off. Not to me. That is why we have those million varieties so we all don't have to go after this one.

    I for one like to collect Judaean city coins. Here are two of Ako-Ptolemais, an issue during the Seleucid era, and a bronze of Hadrian. They're nowhere near as nice as the OP coin, but they cost a few less zeros.
