I submitted a series of British coins 1 Jun 15 they were received and I got the grades back this morning 1799 1/2D MS65RB (145$) 1799 1/2D MS62BN (43$) 1806 1/2D AU58 BN (49$) 1807 1/2 D MS63 BN (103$) 1884 1/2D MS63 BN (37$)
here is a 1799 that had corrosion all over the letters and rim. I was able to soak it olive oil and use a tooth pic and dental tool in one area to get most the ugly blue green areas off. These were before I fixed it. the corrosion is above the B to the right of the B on rime inside the R and on the bottom of 1st 9 in date. AU58 BN (30$)
thanks I cant take credit for the photos. those are from ebay. My skills in photography are still developing. its not something I enjoy so much...
That's what I paid for them. I use the NGC world coin price guide. http://www.ngccoin.com/price-guide/world/
thank you it took hours and hours of searching to find the right ones. And even then you get a few disappointments with coming back cleaned. im getting good at spotting cleaning on silver very easy but copper has more to be desired. Im hoping to have most my penny and 1/2D set finished within the next year. I put the sets together for my daughter, whose now 9 months.
