I have been going through a cigar box full of silver dimes that I started collecting while working in a family owned grocery store at about 10. I ran across this one. The pictures aren't all that good but the best part is that I have a whole 10 cents in it. I might have have even traded a quart pop bottle for it.
42/1 D is much more subtle than 42/1 P, but, even so, I'm not seeing it in your close up of the date. Do you see evidence of a repunched 4?
